Total Driver Schools programs are at no cost to the school, resources are supplied and are faciliated in two levels
S.A.FE. Pre Licence: Practical application of the road rules to prepare for the learners test.
S.L.A.M. Post licence: Students learning A message. Our next step as drivers.
Schools and community education is part of our community awareness project and provides a holistic approach to developing drivers, supplying students with the tools to become a Total Driver.
Program Goals:
To break down the core elements for any driver, (driver, vehicle, aptitude). Create an understanding of practical application of road rules, breaking down the elements into a structured progressive format. The program is the balance to the practical component of driving lessons, helping all to understand why drivers “create their own accidents”.
Practical Implementation:
The core point of difference with the SAFE program is it is a valuable component of an overall process. Peer group pressure is an amazing influence on every person, as we grow, as society becomes more competitive, individuals become more isolated. There is substantial pressure to conform. The cars are more powerful and the pace of society faster. All of these ingredients combine to a potentially deadly cocktail.
Simply put, People don’t drive cars to crash! Yet 5 fatalities occur every day on Australian roads.
