Most the most of what you can do with your 4 wheel drive vehicle

SUVs make up close to 50% of new vehicles sold, many of which are 4 Wheel Drive. Total Driver designed a series of courses, to allow people to make the most of the opportunities the vehicles offer.
Our courses are very hands-on. They start with an introduction as we look over your vehicle and discuss the adventures you would like to experience. There are many new features in a 4x4 and for people who are first-time 4x4 vehicle owners, there is little understanding of what the various features are and how to use them.
We also introduce key driving skills and techniques on postural stability, reducing fatigue, and the basics of all 4x4 skills.
We run two programs
Level 1 – Basic Off-Road and Beach Driving
This course will teach more about how not to get stuck, but if you are, we provide practical experience in how to recover. The 5Ps are at the core – Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance.
We take the time to understand your intended adventures, help you accessorise, and take you on a specific adventure to show you
- How not to get stuck
- How to recover yourself and others
- The easy versus the hard way
Level 2 & Level 3 Recoveries and Advanced 4WD
These courses are for serious adventurers.
These courses are “roll up the sleeves and get down and dirty”. From water crossing and rolling log bridges to stall recoveries and winching. You will learn how to make all the fancy technology work for you.
With all 4WD courses, you receive updates and newsletters with destinations, inspiration tips, and know how ideas.
